Capital One Lounge Locations: Lounges & Landings (2026)

By Krit · Updated · How we research

Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.

Capital One has seven airport spaces in the US: full Capital One Lounges at Dallas Fort Worth, Denver, Washington Dulles, Las Vegas and New York JFK, and smaller, dining-focused Capital One Landings at Washington National and LaGuardia. A large Charlotte lounge is announced with no date. The card that gets you in free is the Capital One Venture X ($395) or Venture X Business, but since Feb. 1, 2026 most guests pay.

Lounge vs. Landing

A Capital One Lounge is a full lounge: buffet and made-to-order food, bar, workspaces, and at most locations showers and quiet rooms. A Capital One Landing is a smaller, restaurant-style space with a menu designed with José Andrés Group, built for a sit-down meal before your flight. DCA's Landing (opened November 2024) also has an "On the Fly" grab-and-go counter, where Venture X cardholders get 50% off. LaGuardia's Landing opened Feb. 18, 2026 and at about 12,500 square feet is more than twice DCA's size. Book a Landing table in the Capital One app; walk-ins depend on space.

Access rules

Who gets in free. Primary cardholders of the Venture X and Venture X Business, with a same-day boarding pass. Show your physical card or the digital lounge pass in the Capital One app. Entry is limited to 3 hours before your departing flight, and there is a digital waitlist in the app when a lounge is full (you have 15 minutes to check in once you're called).

Guests (since Feb. 1, 2026). Venture X and Venture X Business guests pay $45 per adult and $25 per child aged 2–17 at Capital One Lounges and Landings. Children under 2 are free. Personal Venture X cardholders who spend $75,000 in a calendar year unlock free guests for the rest of that year and the following year: two per visit at Lounges and one at Landings.

Authorized users. Adding an authorized user no longer comes with lounge access by default. To give one access to Capital One Lounges, Landings and Priority Pass, you pay $125 per authorized user per year.

Other Capital One cards and non-cardholders. Venture and Spark Miles cardholders can buy discounted entry ($45), and anyone can buy entry for about $90, subject to space.

Priority Pass is separate. Venture X also includes Priority Pass Select (lounges only; restaurants were removed in 2023). Since Feb. 1, 2026, personal Venture X guests at Priority Pass lounges cost $35 each; Venture X Business cardholders still get two free Priority Pass guests. Capital One Lounges are not in Priority Pass, and since Aug. 15, 2026 Venture X's Priority Pass no longer gets you into Chase Sapphire Lounges either. More in our Priority Pass USA guide.

Lounge-by-lounge notes

Dallas Fort Worth. The first Capital One Lounge (November 2021), in Terminal D near gate D22. Every DFW terminal connects to D by Skylink, and Terminal D now also has the Centurion Lounge and the new Chase Sapphire Lounge, which makes DFW the best airport in the country if you hold more than one premium card. See DFW lounges.

Denver. On the Concourse A mezzanine, past gate A34. Concourse A is the train stop closest to the main terminal and serves a mix of airlines, while United is concentrated in B, so build in time if you're flying United. See DEN lounges.

Washington Dulles. In the Main Terminal right after security, a long way from most gates (Dulles relies on its train and people movers). The lounge ran at reduced capacity earlier in 2026 and returned to full service on Sept. 18, 2026 after climate-control upgrades. See IAD lounges.

Las Vegas. Terminal 1, Concourse D, near gate D50, opened February 2025. Concourse D also has the Centurion Lounge and the Amex Sidecar, so it's the place to be at LAS if you have cards from both issuers. See LAS lounges.

New York JFK. In the Terminal 4 retail hall, opened June 2025, and the only Capital One Lounge open 24 hours. Terminal 4 is Delta's JFK home plus many international carriers, and it also has a Centurion Lounge and the Chase Sapphire Lounge with Etihad (currently on limited operations). See JFK lounges.

Washington National and LaGuardia (Landings). DCA's Landing is in Terminal 2's National Hall near Concourse D. LGA's is in Terminal B, on the bridge to gates 11–31. Both are reservation-first; a Landing is better for a proper meal than for a long work session. See DCA lounges and LGA lounges.

Coming next: Charlotte

Capital One announced a lounge at Charlotte Douglas in January 2026, on the mezzanine of the Concourse A expansion, at roughly 14,000 square feet. That would make it Capital One's largest lounge. No opening date has been given, and reporting expects 2027 at the earliest. Charlotte is American's second-biggest hub, and Concourse A is also where Amex plans a Sidecar, so the A expansion is shaping up as CLT's credit-card corner. See CLT lounges.

Is the Venture X still worth it for lounges?

Yes for solo travelers, less so for families. At $395 it's the cheapest card that gets you into a proprietary lounge network plus Priority Pass, and the annual travel credit and anniversary miles offset much of the fee (see the card page for current terms). The February 2026 changes hurt anyone who traveled with a partner or kids: a couple now pays $45 per visit at a Capital One Lounge and $35 at a Priority Pass lounge. If you usually bring guests, the Sapphire Reserve (two free guests at Sapphire Lounges and Priority Pass) may work out better despite the higher fee. Our best lounge cards comparison breaks it down.

FAQ

How many Capital One Lounges are there? Five full Capital One Lounges (DFW, DEN, IAD, LAS, JFK) and two Capital One Landings (DCA, LGA) as of October 2026. A Charlotte lounge is announced with no opening date. All are in the US.

How much are guests at Capital One Lounges now? Since Feb. 1, 2026, Venture X guests pay $45 per adult and $25 per child aged 2–17; children under 2 are free. Spending $75,000 in a calendar year on the personal Venture X makes up to two guests free at Lounges and one at Landings — per Capital One's terms, for the rest of that year and all of the following year.

Do Venture X authorized users get lounge access? Not automatically anymore. Access for an authorized user costs $125 per year.

Can I get into a Capital One Lounge without a Venture X? Yes, if there's space. Venture and Spark Miles cardholders can buy discounted entry, and anyone can buy a pass at full price. Priority Pass does not work at Capital One Lounges.

Do I need a reservation for a Capital One Landing? It's strongly recommended. Book in the Capital One app; without a reservation, entry depends on availability.

Is there a Capital One Lounge at LaGuardia? There's a Capital One Landing in Terminal B, opened February 2026 — a dining-focused space rather than a full lounge.
