Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.
Denver is United's fastest-growing hub and one of Southwest's biggest bases. DEN lounge access is unusual: there's a Centurion Lounge DEN in Concourse C and a Capital One Lounge in Concourse A, but no Priority Pass DEN lounge at all, so the best credit card for Denver flyers is one with its own lounge here.

Quick answer
- Best overall for DEN lounge access: Amex Platinum — includes the Centurion Lounge DEN (Concourse C) and 10 Delta Sky Club visits a year on Delta
- Best value for the Capital One Lounge: Capital One Venture X — $395 for the Capital One Lounge in Concourse A (its Priority Pass does nothing at DEN)
- Best for frequent United flyers: United Club card with United Club access (four clubs across Concourses A and B)
- Priority Pass DEN: There's no Priority Pass lounge and no Chase Sapphire Lounge at Denver; the only Priority Pass offer is a restaurant credit premium cards don't include.
Airport snapshot
Everything at DEN sits on three parallel airside concourses (A, B, C) linked to the Jeppesen Terminal by an underground train, so you can reach any lounge after security in a few minutes. United dominates Concourse B and part of A; Southwest operates mostly from Concourse C, along with American and others; Delta is in A. The two bank lounges split across the airport: Capital One in A, Amex in C. There is no Chase Sapphire Lounge at Denver and no secondary commercial airport worth planning around.
Where to go by terminal
| Concourse | Airlines | Lounges there |
|---|---|---|
| A | United, Delta, Frontier, international airlines | Capital One (A34), United Club (A25), Sky Club |
| B | United | United Clubs (B32, B44), United Club Fly (B60) |
| C | Southwest, American, others | Centurion (C46), Admirals Club (C32) |
All three concourses are airside and linked by the underground train, so after one security screening you can reach the Centurion in C or the Capital One Lounge in A from any gate in a few minutes.
Lounges at DEN
Centurion Lounge DEN (Amex)
- Location: Concourse C, mezzanine level near gate C46.
- Access: Amex Platinum and Business Platinum on any airline with a same-day boarding pass, within 3 hours of departure (on a layover, within 5 hours of your connection since July 8, 2026). Delta SkyMiles Reserve holders get in when flying Delta on a ticket bought with the card.
- Guest policy: $50 per adult and $30 per child, free for two guests after $75,000 in Platinum spend in a calendar year. Guests must be on your flight.
- Best for: Southwest and American flyers in Concourse C, and anyone with a Platinum who doesn't mind the train ride from A or B.
Capital One Lounge DEN
- Location: Concourse A, mezzanine near gate A34. About 10,800 square feet with the largest bar in Capital One's network, plus relaxation rooms and shower suites. No full-service coffee bar.
- Access: Venture X and Venture X Business primary cardholders, within 3 hours of departure (not on arrival). Day pass $90, or $45 for other Capital One Venture/Spark Miles cardholders.
- Guest policy: Since February 1, 2026, guests cost $45 per adult and $25 per child unless you spend $75,000 a year on the card, which earns two free guests. Authorized users no longer get free access (adding it costs $125 per card).
- Best for: United flyers in A, and anyone with a Venture X.
United Club DEN (4 locations)
- Location: Concourse A near A25; Concourse B West near B32 (two levels, 600+ seats); Concourse B East near B44; United Club Fly near B60 (grab-and-go, no guests).
- Access: Same-day United or Star Alliance flight plus a membership, United Club card, qualifying status or premium ticket. Day pass about $59 (not accepted at United Club Fly).
- Guest policy: United Club card members can bring one adult guest plus dependents under 18 (two adults with All Access, via $50,000 in card spend or Premier Gold); United Club Fly doesn't admit guests.
- Best for: United flyers. A Polaris lounge for DEN is in design with no opening date.
Delta Sky Club DEN
- Location: Concourse A, level 4 after security.
- Access: Same-day Delta flight (no Basic Economy) with membership, status, premium ticket or an eligible Amex. Platinum gets 10 visits a year, Delta Reserve 15; unlimited after $75,000 in purchases in a calendar year.
- Guest policy: Two guests at $50 each for Amex cardholders.
- Best for: Delta flyers.
Admirals Club DEN
- Location: Concourse C, mezzanine near gate C32.
- Access: Same-day American or oneworld flight with membership, the Citi AAdvantage Executive, status or premium ticket; Citi Strata Elite passes work too. Day pass about $79.
- Guest policy: Citi AAdvantage Executive primary cardholders can bring family or two guests.
- Best for: American flyers.
Priority Pass at DEN
- Mercantile Dining & Provision — restaurant, center of Concourse A near gate 39; a dining credit (about $28 per person), not a lounge.
- Access: Only Priority Pass memberships that include restaurants. Chase Sapphire Reserve, Amex Platinum, Capital One and Citi Strata Elite memberships are lounge-only, so they get nothing at DEN.

Recommended strategy
- If you fly United often from DEN: A United Club membership through the United Club card gets you four clubs in your own concourses, with no visit caps. Add Venture X if you want the Capital One Lounge as a second option.
- If you want one card that covers the best lounges: The Amex Platinum. The Centurion is the best lounge at DEN and it's open on any airline. Southwest flyers in Concourse C get it right by their gates.
- If you want strong lounges at a lower cost: Venture X. At $395 it gets you a real lounge at DEN, which no other card under $600 does. Budget for guest fees now that free guests need $75,000 in spend.
- If you carry a Sapphire Reserve: It does nothing at Denver. Use it for Sapphire Lounges at other airports and treat DEN as a gap.
No card? Day passes & other options
The Capital One Lounge sells $90 day passes to anyone (within 3 hours of departure). The United Club (about $59) and Admirals Club (about $79) sell day passes if you fly their airline or a partner. The Centurion and Sky Club don't sell day passes. Military travelers can use the USO lounge in Concourse A.
FAQ
Is there a Priority Pass lounge at Denver airport? No. DEN has no Priority Pass lounge. The only Priority Pass offer is a restaurant credit at Mercantile in Concourse A, and the Priority Pass memberships from Chase Sapphire Reserve, Amex Platinum, Capital One and Citi don't cover restaurants.
Where is the Centurion Lounge at DEN? Concourse C, on the mezzanine near gate C46. From Concourse A or B, take the airside train; it's a few minutes.
Can I use the Capital One Lounge at DEN when I land? No. It's for departing passengers only, within 3 hours of departure. Arriving or connecting at the end of a trip doesn't qualify.
Amex Platinum vs Sapphire Reserve vs Venture X: which is best at DEN? The Platinum if you want the best lounge (the Centurion in C) and Sky Club visits on Delta. Venture X if you want a real lounge for the lowest fee (the Capital One Lounge in A). The Sapphire Reserve is the weakest here: there's no Chase Sapphire Lounge at DEN and no Priority Pass lounge for it to use.
