When is Halloween 2026?
Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday, October 31, 2026. A weekend Halloween usually means more parties, so costumes, decorations and party supplies sell earlier than in a weekday year. The KritDeals Halloween tab opens two weeks ahead, on October 17, and runs through October 31.
What the Halloween tab covers
The tab collects Halloween deals: costumes and costume accessories, candy, decorations (animatronics, fog machines, skeleton and cobweb decor, jack-o'-lanterns) and party supplies. It matches on what a product actually is, and it deliberately leaves out lookalikes such as pumpkin spice food, witch hazel skin care and costume jewelry.
How KritDeals picks the deals
KritDeals tracks the price history of everything it pulls from retailer feeds, and lists a tracked deal only while it sits at the lowest price we have recorded for it. A seasonal theme does not change that: a costume shows up in the Halloween tab because it is a genuine low, not just because it is October. Editorial picks and the Toys, Kids & Baby department follow different rules; see how we research.
How to save on Halloween
- Buy costumes early. Popular sizes and characters sell out in the last week, and the cheapest options tend to go first.
- Check the price history. Paste any product link into Price Check to see where today's price sits against everything we have recorded, with a buy-or-wait verdict.
- Buy candy in bulk, but check the unit price. A bigger bag is not always cheaper per ounce.
- Wait for decor you can store. Many retailers discount leftover Halloween decorations right after October 31, so non-urgent decor for next year can be cheaper in November.
- Set a price alert. In the KritDeals app, turn on an alert for items you are watching and get told when the price drops.
