Krit
The KritDeals team · Texas, United States
Krit is the name the KritDeals team writes under. Every guide, comparison and season hub on this site is researched, written and kept up to date by the same small team, and it carries this byline so you always know who stands behind it.
What we do
We built KritDeals because most deal sites tell you something is a deal without showing you why. So we track prices ourselves. Products from retailer feeds — Amazon above all — are re-checked every few hours, every price change is recorded, and a deal is listed only while it sits at the lowest price we have seen for it. Each deal page shows that price history and a KritScore, a 0–100 number computed from the data rather than our opinion, so you can check the claim instead of taking our word for it.
On the points side, we write the credit card and travel rewards guides, the card comparisons and the Points Path tools that show what a card is really worth to you. Sign-up bonuses, earn rates and annual fees are checked against each issuer’s own pages, and every guide shows the date it was last updated.
What you’ll find from us
- Today’s deals and price drops, filtered to all-time lows.
- Price Check — paste a product link and see whether the price is actually good.
- Season hubs for Prime Day, Halloween, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and more, opened a week early.
- Credit card guides, best-card-for lists, head-to-head comparisons and rewards program explainers.
- The KritDeals app for iPhone and Android.
Editorial standards
Krit is a team byline, not a pen name for one person. These are the standards every guide and card page has to meet:
- Research from primary sources. Bonuses, fees, APRs, credits and transfer partners come from the issuer’s own pages. Award prices come from the airline or hotel program, and prices from the retailer. Other publications can point us to a change, but we confirm it at the source before we publish.
- Review before publishing. Each guide is checked against those sources before it goes live, and again when a program changes. Card figures are kept in one shared record, so the card pages, comparisons and Points Path can’t disagree.
- Show our working. Scores come from published formulas, not gut feel. See deal scoring and how we rate credit cards. Point values are labelled as our estimates, not cash, and net-cost figures state what they count and what they leave out.
- Date everything. Guides show when they were last updated. Card pages show when the offer terms were last updated, and deal pages show when the price was last checked.
- Correct openly. Mistakes are fixed in the page itself, and the page is re-dated. See our corrections policy.
- Independent of affiliate pay. Commission rates are never an input to a score, a ranking or a recommendation. Paid and Featured placements are labelled.
How we stay honest
KritDeals earns a commission on some purchases, at no extra cost to you. Commission rates never enter which deals are listed, the order of the feed or a KritScore, and nobody can pay for a place in a guide. Sponsored placements are always labelled. The full rules are on our How KritDeals works page and in the affiliate disclosure.
Spotted something out of date or wrong? Tell us at support@kritdeals.com — corrections are made in the guide itself and move its updated date. The full process is in our corrections policy.
