Best Credit Cards & Lounge Access for Las Vegas (LAS) Flyers

By Krit · Updated · How we research

Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.

Harry Reid International is Southwest's biggest base and a busy leisure airport for nearly every US airline. It's also one of the few US airports where all three bank lounge networks operate, which makes LAS lounge access unusually easy: the Centurion Lounge LAS (plus a smaller Sidecar), a Capital One Lounge and a Chase Sapphire Lounge.

Quick answer

  • Best overall for LAS lounge access: Amex Platinum — includes the Centurion Lounge LAS, the Sidecar and Priority Pass (The Club LAS)
  • Best for the Chase Sapphire Lounge: Chase Sapphire Reserve — the Sapphire Lounge is in Concourse C, Southwest's area, with two free guests
  • Best value for Priority Pass + Capital One Lounge: Capital One Venture X — Capital One Lounge in Concourse D plus Priority Pass LAS (two Club LAS locations)
  • Best for frequent United flyers: United Club Card with United Club access (Concourse D)

Airport snapshot

LAS has two terminals. Terminal 1 serves the A, B, C and D gates, and Southwest flies mostly from B and C. Terminal 3 serves the E gates (international and some domestic flights). The D gates are reached by tram and hold most of the lounges: Centurion, Sidecar, Capital One, the United Club and one Club LAS. The Sapphire Lounge is in Concourse C, a short tram ride from D. Terminal 3 has its own Club LAS. Southwest flyers have no airline club here, so the best credit card for Las Vegas flyers is a bank card.

Where to go by terminal

Gates Airlines Lounges there
T1 A–B Southwest, other airlines Spas only
T1 C Southwest Chase Sapphire Lounge (C23)
T1 D Most non-Southwest airlines Centurion, Sidecar, Capital One, United Club, The Club LAS
T3 E International, some domestic The Club LAS

The D gates are the hub: after security, trams link them to the Terminal 1 A–C gates and to Terminal 3's E gates. Moving between the two terminal buildings landside means a shuttle and a new security screening.

Lounges at LAS

Centurion Lounge LAS

  • Location: Terminal 1, Concourse D, opposite gate D1.
  • Access: Amex Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders with a same-day boarding pass, within 3 hours of departure, or within 5 hours on a layover (since July 8, 2026). Delta Reserve cardholders get in only on a same-day Delta flight booked with an Amex card.
  • Guest policy: Up to two guests at $50 per adult and $30 per child (2–17). Platinum guests become free after $75,000 in calendar-year spend. Guests must be on your flight.
  • Best for: Platinum holders flying from the D gates.
  • Crowds: It gets crowded at peak Vegas departure times, so join the waitlist in the Amex app (or use the Sidecar if you're within 90 minutes).

Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge

  • Location: Terminal 1, Concourse D, central concourse.
  • Access: Same eligible cards as the Centurion, but you can only enter within 90 minutes of departure. It's small, with room for about 33 people.
  • Guest policy: Same as the Centurion.
  • Best for: A quick drink and bite right before boarding when the main lounge has a waitlist.

Capital One Lounge

  • Location: Terminal 1, Concourse D atrium, second level near gate D50. It opened in February 2025.
  • Access: Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders with a same-day boarding pass, within 3 hours of departure. Authorized users need the $125-a-year add-on.
  • Guest policy: Since February 1, 2026, Venture X guests cost $45 per adult and $25 per child (under 2 free). Two free guests come back after $75,000 in calendar-year spend.
  • Best for: Venture X holders. Reviewers have praised its food.

Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club

  • Location: Terminal 1, Concourse C, near gate C23. It opened December 3, 2025 and has two floors.
  • Access: Chase Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business (primary), J.P. Morgan Reserve and Ritz-Carlton cardholders with a boarding pass within 3 hours of departure. Upgraded Points reports it stopped admitting other Priority Pass members on August 15, 2026.
  • Guest policy: Sapphire Reserve cardholders can bring two guests free, and each additional guest costs $27.
  • Best for: Southwest flyers in the B and C gates. It's the only bank lounge on the C side.

United Club

  • Location: Terminal 1, Concourse D, between gates D33 and D35.
  • Access: United Club Card holders get membership. Partner lounges and All Access require $50,000 in calendar-year spend or Premier Gold status.
  • Guest policy: One adult guest plus dependents under 18 on the base card membership; two adults with All Access.
  • Best for: United flyers.

Priority Pass at LAS

  • The Club LAS, Concourse D: Level 2, near gate D33.
  • The Club LAS, Terminal 3: Concourse E, opposite gate E2.
  • Spas: The Chiroport (two in Terminal 1) and XpresSpa (Terminal 1 and Terminal 3). These are spa perks, not lounges.
  • Restaurants: Priority Pass lists none at LAS.
  • Access: Sapphire Reserve and Amex Platinum include two free guests. The personal Venture X charges $35 per guest. The Sapphire Lounge is no longer a Priority Pass lounge for non-Chase members.

Recommended strategy

  • If you fly Southwest often from LAS: Sapphire Reserve. Its lounge is in Concourse C next to Southwest's gates, and two guests get in free, which matters on group trips to Vegas.
  • If you want one card that covers the best lounges: Amex Platinum gets you into the Centurion, the Sidecar and both Club LAS locations. Guests are the weak spot: $50 per adult until you hit $75,000 in spend.
  • If you want strong lounges at a lower cost: Venture X. For $395 you get the Capital One Lounge plus Priority Pass, which is one of the best deals at any US airport. Guests now cost $45 at the Capital One Lounge and $35 at Priority Pass lounges.
  • If you fly from Terminal 3 (E gates): The Club LAS in Terminal 3 is the nearest lounge, and any card with Priority Pass gets you in.

No card? Day passes & other options

Capital One sells $90 day passes to anyone when there's space (Venture X guests pay $45). Both Club LAS locations sell day passes (Upgraded Points lists $60), and Upgraded Points lists a $100 day pass for the Sapphire Lounge. The United Club sells one-time passes ($59 per Upgraded Points). The Centurion and Sidecar don't sell day passes. The USO has lounges before security in Terminal 1 and at Terminal 3 baggage claim.

FAQ

Is there a Centurion Lounge at LAS? Yes, two in fact. The full Centurion Lounge is in Concourse D opposite gate D1, and the smaller Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge is also in Concourse D. The Sidecar only admits you within 90 minutes of departure, compared with 3 hours at the main lounge.

Amex Platinum vs Sapphire Reserve vs Venture X: which is best at LAS? All three have their own lounge here, so it comes down to where you fly from and who you travel with. Venture X is the value pick: $395 for the Capital One Lounge plus Priority Pass. Sapphire Reserve is best for Southwest flyers and groups, since its lounge is in Concourse C and two guests are free. Amex Platinum gives the most lounges (Centurion, Sidecar and Priority Pass) but charges $50 per guest unless you spend $75,000 a year.

Can I use Priority Pass at the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Las Vegas? Only with a Chase card. You can enter with the Priority Pass membership that comes with Sapphire Reserve, but Upgraded Points reports that other Priority Pass members lost access on August 15, 2026. Priority Pass's own LAS listing now shows only the two Club LAS lounges.

Is there a Delta Sky Club or Admirals Club at LAS? No. Delta and American flyers at LAS use the bank lounges or The Club LAS. Delta Reserve cardholders can still use the Centurion and Sidecar when flying Delta on a ticket bought with an Amex card.
