Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.
Pittsburgh isn't an airline hub — Southwest, American, Delta, United and low-cost carriers split the flights — and its brand-new landside terminal (opened November 18, 2025) didn't add any lounges. PIT lounge access comes down to two choices: The Club PIT for anyone with Priority Pass, and the Admirals Club for American flyers. There's no Centurion Lounge at PIT, no Sapphire Lounge and no Capital One Lounge.

Quick answer
- Best overall for PIT lounge access: any Priority Pass card — The Club PIT in Concourse C is the only lounge open to most travelers
- Best value for Priority Pass: Capital One Venture X — $395 for Priority Pass PIT, the cheapest route into The Club
- Best if you connect through big hubs: Amex Platinum or Chase Sapphire Reserve — no Centurion or Sapphire Lounge at PIT, but both shine at connecting airports
- Best for frequent American flyers: Citi AAdvantage Executive with Admirals Club access in the airside core — see our Citi AAdvantage guide
Airport snapshot
The new landside terminal holds check-in, a single consolidated security checkpoint and baggage claim. A covered Skybridge walkway now replaces the old underground train to the X-shaped airside building, which wasn't replaced — so both lounges stayed where they were. Southwest and United are on Concourse A, American on B, international flights on C and Delta on D.
Where to go by terminal
| Concourse | Airlines | Lounges there |
|---|---|---|
| A | Southwest, United, Allegiant, Sun Country | Gameway (Priority Pass) |
| B | American, Alaska, JetBlue | None (Admirals Club is in the core) |
| C | Air Canada, British Airways | The Club PIT, USO |
| D | Delta, Frontier, Breeze | None |
| Center core | — | Admirals Club (mezzanine) |
All four concourses meet at the airside center core, so every lounge is a short walk from any gate after one security check. Gate assignments on A and B are still shifting, so check your airline's app.
Lounges at PIT
Priority Pass at PIT: The Club PIT
- Location: Concourse C, airside.
- Access: Priority Pass (including memberships from Amex Platinum, Sapphire Reserve, Venture X and Citi Strata Elite) or a $50 day pass, for any departing passenger. Entry up to 3 hours before departure, subject to space.
- Guest policy: Set by your card's Priority Pass membership — Venture X guests cost $35; check your benefits page for Platinum and Sapphire Reserve.
- Best for: Everyone without American status. Reviewers like the bar more than the buffet.
Admirals Club PIT (American Airlines)
- Location: Mezzanine above the airside center core.
- Access: Admirals Club members (including Citi AAdvantage Executive cardholders), eligible oneworld premium and status passengers, and Citi Strata Elite holders using one of their four annual Admirals Club passes, with a same-day American or oneworld boarding pass.
- Guest policy: Members can bring immediate family or up to two guests.
- Best for: American flyers on Concourse B.
Gameway (Concourse A)
- Location: Concourse A.
- Access: Listed by Priority Pass as an "unwind" experience — a gaming lounge, not a traditional lounge. Lounges-only memberships (Amex, Capital One) may not cover it.
- Guest policy: Per Priority Pass terms.
- Best for: Killing time on Southwest or United flights.
USO Pittsburgh
- Location: Concourse C.
- Access: Active-duty military, retirees and eligible family with ID.
- Guest policy: Military families only.

There's no Delta Sky Club or United Club at PIT.

Recommended strategy
- If you fly American often from PIT: Citi AAdvantage Executive for the Admirals Club, especially if you connect through Charlotte or Philadelphia, where the same membership opens many more clubs.
- If you want both PIT lounges on one card: Citi Strata Elite — Priority Pass for The Club plus four Admirals Club passes a year.
- If you want one card that covers the best lounges: at PIT it doesn't matter; choose by your connecting hub. Delta flyers connecting through Atlanta or Detroit get more from Platinum or the Delta Reserve.
- If you want strong lounges at a lower cost: Venture X at $395 is all most Pittsburgh flyers need.
No card? Day passes & other options
The Club PIT sells $50 day passes. American sells Admirals Club One Day Passes ($79 or 7,900 miles) where space allows, bookable in its app.
FAQ
Is there a Centurion Lounge at PIT? No. There's no Centurion Lounge, Chase Sapphire Lounge or Capital One Lounge at Pittsburgh. Platinum holders use The Club PIT through Priority Pass.
Does Priority Pass work at PIT? Yes, at The Club PIT in Concourse C, plus Gameway in Concourse A. The Club is the only traditional Priority Pass lounge.
Did the new Pittsburgh terminal add lounges? No. The new landside terminal that opened November 18, 2025 handles check-in, security and bags. Both lounges are in the existing airside building and didn't move; you now walk to them over the Skybridge instead of riding a train.
Amex Platinum vs Sapphire Reserve vs Venture X: which is best at PIT? At PIT itself, they're identical — each gets you into The Club PIT through Priority Pass. Venture X is the best value at $395. Platinum or Sapphire Reserve only make sense for the lounges at the airports you connect through.
