Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.
Palm Beach International was renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport in July 2026, and its airline code changed from PBI to DJT on August 18, 2026, so search for "DJT" or "West Palm Beach" when you book. For lounge access nothing else changed: there's one Escape Lounge near Concourse B and a Delta Sky Club in Concourse C. There's no Centurion Lounge, no Sapphire Lounge and no Priority Pass lounge, so the best credit card for Palm Beach flyers is Amex Platinum, or the Delta Reserve if you fly Delta.

Quick answer
- Best overall for PBI lounge access: Amex Platinum: free Escape Lounge entry with two free guests, plus the Delta Sky Club on Delta flights. There's no Centurion Lounge at PBI/DJT.
- Best for frequent Delta flyers: Delta SkyMiles Reserve: Sky Club access (15 visits a year) and free Escape Lounge entry on Delta days.
- Best value for Priority Pass: Capital One Venture X, but not here. This Escape Lounge isn't in Priority Pass, so Venture X and Sapphire Reserve get you nothing at PBI.
- No card: Escape sells entry to anyone from $45 if you pre-book at least 24 hours ahead, or $60 at the door.
Airport snapshot
West Palm Beach is a leisure and snowbird airport with no hub airline. JetBlue, Delta, American, United and Southwest all have a big presence, and traffic peaks in winter. The Escape Lounge is just past the entrance to the A and B concourses. The Delta Sky Club is in Concourse C. Without a hub airline, Amex Platinum is the only card that unlocks both lounges.
Where to go by terminal
- Concourses A/B: The Escape Lounge is just past the A/B entrance (Amex lists it in Concourse B). It's open to passengers of any airline.
- Concourse C: The Delta Sky Club is here, for passengers on a Delta flight that day. One lounge guide says Concourse C passengers can use the Escape Lounge by clearing the Concourse B checkpoint with their boarding pass. Allow extra time if you do.
- Name change: Signs are being updated in phases, so you may see both "PBI" and "DJT" around the airport this season.
Lounges at PBI (DJT)
Escape Lounge – The Centurion Studio Partner
- Location: Just past the entrance to the A and B concourses, in the former US Airways Club space. Open roughly 5am to 7pm. Check hours in the app.
- Access: Amex Platinum and Business Platinum (show the card at the desk; entry within 3 hours of departure at some locations, any time on a layover), Delta SkyMiles Reserve on a day you're flying a Delta-marketed flight, or anyone who pays: from $45 pre-booked at least 24 hours ahead, $60 walk-up. Priority Pass isn't accepted. This was one of the few US Escape Lounges that didn't join Priority Pass.
- Guest policy: Amex Platinum cardholders can bring up to two free guests. Children under 3 are free, and children 3 to 15 are allowed with an adult.
- Best for: Amex Platinum holders and anyone flying JetBlue, American, United or Southwest who wants a lounge. Entry includes hot and cold food and a bar with beer, wine and spirits. Premium drinks cost extra.
Delta Sky Club PBI
- Location: Concourse C.
- Access: Same-day Delta flight. Delta SkyMiles Reserve (15 visits a year), Amex Platinum and Business Platinum (10 visits a year; then $50 per visit; unlimited after $75,000 in calendar-year spending), Sky Club members, Delta One passengers and eligible Medallion members. Delta doesn't sell day passes.
- Guest policy: Platinum and Reserve cardholders can bring up to two guests at $50 each, or immediate family under Amex's terms. Reserve cardholders get four free guest passes a year.
- Best for: Delta flyers, especially in the winter peak when the Escape Lounge fills up.
Priority Pass at PBI
- None. Priority Pass's US directory doesn't list this airport, and the Escape Lounge doesn't take Priority Pass.
- Access: Sapphire Reserve, Venture X and Citi Strata Elite get you nothing at PBI/DJT. Fort Lauderdale (FLL) isn't much better for Priority Pass. Miami (MIA) is the nearest airport with real Priority Pass lounges.
Best credit cards for PBI
| Card | Annual fee | Lounges you get at PBI | Guests | Best if you… |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amex Platinum | $895 | Escape + Sky Club on Delta | 2 free (Escape); $50 (Sky Club) | Want both lounges |
| Delta SkyMiles Reserve | $650 | Sky Club + Escape on Delta days | $50 each; 4 free passes | Fly Delta |
| Capital One Venture X | $395 | None here | — | Fly from MIA too |
| Chase Sapphire Reserve | $795 | None here | — | Use lounges elsewhere |
Recommended strategy
- If you want one card that covers the lounges here: Amex Platinum. It's the only card that gets you into both lounges, and it covers the Escape Lounge whatever airline you fly. The two free guests matter for snowbird couples and families.
- If you fly Delta often from PBI: Delta SkyMiles Reserve covers the Sky Club and, on Delta days, the Escape Lounge too.
- If you fly JetBlue, American or United and don't want a $895 card: Buy Escape entry when you need it ($45 pre-booked). A Priority Pass card won't help here.
- If you sometimes fly from Miami instead: MIA has a Centurion Lounge and Priority Pass lounges, which is where Platinum, Sapphire Reserve and Venture X earn their fees. At PBI only Platinum helps.
No card? Day passes & other options
The Escape Lounge sells entry to any departing passenger: from $45 per person if you book at least 24 hours ahead (free cancellation up to 24 hours before), or $60 at the door, subject to space. Children under 3 are free. Delta doesn't sell Sky Club day passes.
FAQ
Is PBI now DJT? Yes. The airport became President Donald J. Trump International on July 9, 2026, and its IATA code changed from PBI to DJT on August 18, 2026. Airlines now use DJT on tickets and bag tags. It's the same airport, terminal and lounges.
Is there a Centurion Lounge at PBI? No. There's no Centurion Lounge at PBI/DJT. Amex Platinum cardholders get the Escape Lounge, which Amex brands a "Centurion Studio Partner," with up to two free guests, plus the Delta Sky Club on Delta flights. The nearest full Centurion Lounge is at Miami (MIA).
Does Priority Pass work at PBI? No. The Escape Lounge at Palm Beach isn't in Priority Pass, and Priority Pass lists no other lounge or restaurant here.
Amex Platinum vs Sapphire Reserve vs Venture X: which is best at PBI? Platinum, clearly. It's the only one of the three that works here, covering the Escape Lounge with two free guests and the Sky Club on Delta flights. Sapphire Reserve and Venture X depend on Priority Pass, which has nothing at this airport.
