Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.
Haneda is the closer of Tokyo's two airports and the one Delta, United, American and Hawaiian now use for most US flights, all from Terminal 3. HND lounge access is better than it was: Amex opened the Centurion Lounge HND in Terminal 3 in July 2025, Delta runs a Sky Club there, and Priority Pass HND covers a 24-hour lounge. There's no Chase Sapphire Lounge or Capital One Lounge in Japan.

- Best value for Priority Pass: Capital One Venture X — Sky Lounge South in Terminal 3 for $395

Airport snapshot
Terminal 3 is the international terminal and holds every lounge a US cardholder can use. Terminal 2 is ANA's domestic base and has a small international wing for a handful of ANA flights; Terminal 1 is JAL's domestic terminal. Narita (NRT), about an hour farther out, handles the rest of Tokyo's international flights, including some United routes and the low-cost carriers.
Where to go by terminal
| Terminal | Airlines | Lounges there |
|---|---|---|
| Terminal 3 | Delta, United, American, Hawaiian, ANA, JAL, most international | Centurion, Delta Sky Club, Sky Lounge South, TIAT, Sky Lounge, ANA, JAL, Cathay |
| Terminal 2 | ANA domestic, a few ANA international | Power Lounge Premium (international wing), Power Lounges, ANA |
| Terminal 1 | JAL and Skymark domestic | Power Lounges, JAL (wings under renovation into 2027) |
The terminals aren't connected airside for departing passengers. A free shuttle bus and the train link them landside, so pick a lounge in the terminal on your boarding pass.
Tokyo Narita (NRT): Tokyo's other international airport, with a United Club and Priority Pass lounges but no Centurion or Delta club. See our NRT guide.
Lounges at HND
Centurion Lounge HND (Terminal 3)
- Location: Terminal 3, Level 4, near gate 114. Opened July 16, 2025; about 7,500 sq ft with shower suites, a Japanese menu from chef Satoshi Ogino and a sake and cocktail bar.

- Best for: Any Terminal 3 departure with a Platinum card.
- Crowds: Reviewers expected crowding at peak times given its modest size; Japanese Amex and JR Central cardholders also get in.
Delta Sky Club HND (Terminal 3)
- Location: Terminal 3, 5th floor. Hours follow Delta's departure bank, so it isn't open all day.
- Access: Delta One and eligible SkyTeam premium passengers, Sky Club members and SkyTeam Elite Plus on a same-day flight. Delta Reserve (15 visits a year) and Amex Platinum and Business Platinum (10 visits a year) when flying Delta; $75,000 in annual spend unlocks unlimited visits. Basic economy doesn't qualify.
- Guest policy: $50 per guest; Delta Reserve includes four guest passes a year.
- Best for: Delta passengers flying back to the US.
ANA and JAL lounges (Terminal 3)
- Location: ANA Suite Lounge and ANA Lounge on the 4th floor; JAL First Class Lounge and Sakura Lounge on floors 3–4; Cathay Pacific lounge on the 6th floor.
- Access: ANA lounges: Star Alliance business and first, Star Alliance Gold (United Premier Gold and above). JAL and Cathay lounges: oneworld business and first, oneworld Sapphire and Emerald (AAdvantage Platinum and above). No credit card opens them.
- Guest policy: Per alliance rules; elites can usually bring one guest.
- Best for: United and American flyers with status; these are the best lounges at HND.
Priority Pass at HND
- Terminal 3: Sky Lounge South (3rd floor near gate 108, 24 hours, showers and a buffet) and the TIAT Lounge (4th floor; Priority Pass reportedly only in the overnight hours).
- Terminal 2: Power Lounge Premium in the international wing, the only Priority Pass lounge there; Power Lounge North, Airport Lounge South and Power Lounge Central serve domestic flights.
- Terminal 1: Power Lounge South, North and Central (Central is before security in the arrivals lobby).
- Haneda Airport Garden (landside): Airport Cafe Lounge NODOKA, handy after a morning arrival.
- Access: Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Venture X and Citi Strata Elite include Priority Pass after enrollment. Most free "card lounge" entry at Haneda is for Japan-issued cards, so a US card alone won't do it; show your Priority Pass app.

Recommended strategy
- If you fly Delta often from HND: Delta Reserve covers the Sky Club and the Centurion Lounge, both in Terminal 3.
- If you fly United or American: Status beats cards here. Star Gold opens ANA's lounges and oneworld Sapphire opens JAL's; otherwise use the Centurion or Sky Lounge South.
- If you want one card that covers the best lounges: Amex Platinum, for Centurion plus Priority Pass and limited Sky Club visits.
- If you want strong lounges at a lower cost: Venture X or Sapphire Reserve for Sky Lounge South; Sapphire Reserve's free guests help couples.
- If your ANA flight leaves from Terminal 2: Only Power Lounge Premium takes Priority Pass in that wing.
No card? Day passes & other options
Power Lounge Premium in Terminal 2 sells paid entry (¥4,400 per a 2026 guide), and the TIAT and Sky Lounge in Terminal 3 also take paying guests. The domestic Power Lounges cost about ¥1,320.
FAQ
Is there a Centurion Lounge at Tokyo Haneda? Yes. It opened on July 16, 2025, in Terminal 3 near gate 114. It's Amex's first Centurion Lounge in Japan and is open to US Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders on any airline.
Is there a Delta Sky Club at HND? Yes, on the 5th floor of Terminal 3. Its hours are built around Delta's departures, so check the Fly Delta app before you plan a long stay.
Amex Platinum vs Sapphire Reserve vs Venture X at HND? The Platinum, comfortably: it adds the Centurion Lounge and Sky Club visits to Priority Pass. Sapphire Reserve and Venture X get the same Priority Pass lounges here, mainly Sky Lounge South. There's no Sapphire Lounge or Capital One Lounge in Tokyo.
Does Priority Pass work at the ANA or JAL lounges? Don't count on it. Current lounge directories list neither airline's Haneda lounges as Priority Pass doors; they're for premium passengers and alliance elites.
Which Haneda lounge is open overnight? Sky Lounge South in Terminal 3 runs 24 hours and accepts Priority Pass, which makes it the go-to for late-night departures to the US.
