Best Credit Cards & Lounge Access for Seattle (SEA) Flyers

By Krit · Updated · How we research

Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.

Seattle-Tacoma is Alaska Airlines' home base and a Delta hub, so the best credit card for Seattle flyers depends mostly on which of those two airlines you fly. For bank-card SEA lounge access there's one Centurion Lounge (Central Terminal) and no Chase or Capital One lounge. Priority Pass at SEA gets you two locations of The Club SEA.

Quick answer

  • Best overall for SEA lounge access: Amex Platinum — includes the Centurion Lounge SEA, Delta Sky Club visits and Priority Pass
  • Best value for Priority Pass: Capital One Venture X — Priority Pass SEA means The Club SEA in Concourse A and the South Satellite (there's no Capital One Lounge here)
  • Best for frequent Alaska flyers: Atmos Rewards Summit with Alaska Lounge access (eight passes a year, good at all three SEA Alaska Lounges)
  • Best for frequent Delta flyers: Delta SkyMiles Reserve with Delta Sky Club access (two Concourse A clubs, plus the Centurion on Delta flights)

Airport snapshot

SEA has one main terminal with Concourses A through D, plus the North and South Satellites, which you reach by underground train. Everything is connected after security. Alaska runs from Concourses C and D and the North Satellite. Delta runs from Concourse A and uses the South Satellite for many international flights. United moved to Concourse B in late 2025. The Centurion Lounge is on the Central Terminal mezzanine, which is central to every concourse.

Where to go by terminal

Terminal Airlines Lounges there
Central Terminal All (after security) Centurion
Concourse A Delta 2 Sky Clubs, Delta One, The Club SEA; United Club A9 (status unclear)
Concourse B United None yet; new United Club planned for late 2027
Concourses C and D Alaska Alaska Lounges (C16, D1)
North Satellite Alaska Alaska Lounge (N15)
South Satellite Delta international, foreign airlines BA Terraces, The Club SEA

Everything connects after security; the satellites are a short underground train ride from the main terminal.

Lounges at SEA

Centurion Lounge SEA

  • Location: Central Terminal, mezzanine level above the food court.
  • Access: Amex Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders with a same-day boarding pass, within 3 hours of departure, or within 5 hours on a layover (since July 8, 2026). Delta Reserve cardholders get in on a same-day Delta flight booked with an Amex card.
  • Guest policy: Up to two guests at $50 per adult and $30 per child (2–17). Platinum guests become free after $75,000 in calendar-year spend. Guests must be on your flight.
  • Best for: Alaska flyers with a Platinum. It's the best lounge in the building that an Alaska economy ticket can get you into.
  • Crowds: When it hits capacity, Amex runs a digital waitlist in the Amex app, which also shows how busy the lounge is; check before you walk over.

Alaska Lounges

  • Location: Concourse C near gate C16, Concourse D near gate D1, and the North Satellite mezzanine above gate N15.
  • Access: Alaska Lounge members, eligible first-class and oneworld elite flyers, or a day pass. Atmos Rewards Summit cardholders get eight passes a year, issued two per quarter (January, April, July, October). Unused passes expire at the end of the quarter, and you need a same-day boarding pass on Alaska, Hawaiian, a oneworld airline or an Alaska partner.
  • Guest policy: Each Summit pass covers one adult plus up to two children under 21. A pass lasts the whole travel day, so one pass covers a connection too.
  • Best for: Alaska and Hawaiian flyers. The North Satellite lounge has some of the best runway views at SEA.

Delta Sky Clubs and Delta One Lounge

  • Location: Concourse A, near gate A1 and near gate A11. The A11 club is about 14,000 square feet and opened in 2025. The Delta One Lounge is upstairs from it.
  • Access: Sky Clubs admit Delta flyers with an eligible card. Amex Platinum gives 10 visits per year and Delta Reserve gives 15. Either card unlocks unlimited visits after $75,000 in annual spend. Basic Economy doesn't qualify, and entry is within 3 hours of departure. The Delta One Lounge is for Delta One passengers, Delta 360 members flying first, and select partner premium tickets. No card gets you in.
  • Guest policy: $50 per guest, up to two. Delta Reserve adds four one-time guest passes a year.
  • Best for: Delta flyers.

United Club

  • Location: Concourse A, near gate A9. United now flies from Concourse B, and a new two-story club near gate B3 is planned for late 2027.
  • Access: United Club Card holders get membership. Partner lounges and All Access require $50,000 in calendar-year spend or Premier Gold status.
  • Guest policy: You plus one guest on the base membership.
  • Best for: United flyers with time to walk over from Concourse B. Check the United app, because sources disagree on whether the A9 club is still open.

British Airways Terraces Lounge

  • Location: South Satellite, near gate S10.
  • Access: BA first and business passengers and oneworld Sapphire and Emerald elites. No credit card gets you in.
  • Best for: BA and oneworld long-haul flyers.

Priority Pass at SEA

  • The Club SEA, Concourse A: Near gate A12.
  • The Club SEA, South Satellite: Mezzanine level.
  • Restaurants: PF Chang's and Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen (North Satellite), Brewtop Social (Central Terminal) and Ninth & Pike Artisan Kitchen (Concourse C). These are dining credits, and the memberships on Amex Platinum, Sapphire Reserve, Venture X and Citi Strata Elite don't include restaurants.
  • Access: Sapphire Reserve, Amex Platinum and Strata Elite include two free guests. The personal Venture X charges $35 per guest. Both Club SEA locations get busy, and since there's no Priority Pass lounge in Concourses C or D or the North Satellite, Alaska flyers have to take the train or walk.

Recommended strategy

  • If you fly Alaska often from SEA: Start with the Atmos Summit. Two passes a quarter cover most occasional flyers. If you're in the lounge more than twice a quarter, pair the card with an Alaska Lounge membership or add an Amex Platinum for the Centurion.
  • If you fly Delta often from SEA: The Delta Reserve covers both Concourse A Sky Clubs and the Centurion. Count your trips, because 15 visits a year can run out.
  • If you want one card that covers the best lounges: Amex Platinum. Every concourse can reach the Centurion airside, and it also gets you into Delta's clubs and Priority Pass.
  • If you want strong lounges at a lower cost: Venture X gets you into The Club SEA, but it's a thin option at SEA. It's more worth it if you also fly through Las Vegas, Denver or Dallas, where Capital One has lounges.

No card? Day passes & other options

Both Club SEA locations sell day passes. Book ahead, and you can enter up to 3 hours before departure. Alaska sells Alaska Lounge day passes (Upgraded Points lists $65). The USO Center on the mezzanine above Checkpoint 4 serves military travelers.

FAQ

Is there a Centurion Lounge at SEA? Yes. It's on the Central Terminal mezzanine, after security, and you can reach it airside from every concourse and both satellites. Amex Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders get in free, and Delta Reserve cardholders get in when flying Delta.

Amex Platinum vs Sapphire Reserve vs Venture X: which is best at SEA? Amex Platinum, by a clear margin. It's the only one of the three with a bank lounge at SEA (the Centurion), and it adds 10 Delta Sky Club visits a year. Sapphire Reserve and Venture X both depend on Priority Pass, which here means the two Club SEA lounges. If that's all you need, the $395 Venture X costs far less, but Sapphire Reserve includes two free Priority Pass guests and Venture X charges $35 per guest.

Which card gets me into the Alaska Lounge at SEA? The Atmos Rewards Summit card includes eight Alaska Lounge day passes a year, two per quarter, each covering one adult plus up to two children. Citi AAdvantage Executive cardholders get Admirals Club membership, and Upgraded Points lists Admirals Club members among those admitted to Alaska Lounges. Check Alaska's current rules before relying on that.

Can I get into the new Delta One Lounge at SEA with a credit card? No. It's for Delta One passengers, Delta 360 members on first-class tickets, and select partner premium tickets. Eligible cardholders can use the Sky Club downstairs at A11 or the one at A1.
