Centurion Lounge Seattle (SEA): Access, Guests & Review

By Krit · Updated · How we research

Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.

The Centurion Lounge SEA sits on the Central Terminal mezzanine, above the food court, which puts it within reach of every concourse and both satellites at Seattle-Tacoma. For Alaska flyers holding an Amex Platinum, it's the best lounge an economy ticket can get you into at SEA, and Delta flyers with a Delta Reserve can use it too.

How to get in

  • Amex Platinum and Business Platinum ($895): Free for the cardmember with a same-day boarding pass on any airline, including Alaska, United, Southwest and foreign carriers.
  • Delta SkyMiles Reserve ($650): Free when you're flying Delta that day on a ticket bought with the card. SEA is a Delta hub, so this matters here more than at most Centurions. A Reserve holder flying Alaska doesn't get in.
  • Centurion (black card): Free, with two guests or immediate family included.
  • What doesn't work: Priority Pass, day passes, Amex Gold, Delta Platinum, or arrival-only use.

Guest policy

Platinum and Business Platinum guests cost $50 per adult and $30 per child aged 2–17; children under 2 are free. Since July 8, 2026, guests must be on the same flight as the cardmember. Two guests per visit become free after $75,000 in calendar-year spend on the card. Delta Reserve holders can bring up to two guests at $50 each on a Delta flight. Guests can't enter or stay without you.

What it's like

Amex describes the lounge as having a specialty coffee bar, comfortable seating and outlets near every seat, plus signature cocktails and wines curated by sommelier Helen Johannesen. Upgraded Points' network guide notes a "very large bar area on entry," and its SEA airport guide lists a full-service bar, buffet food, semiprivate workspaces, shower facilities and views of the tarmac. Amex publishes a sample menu rather than a fixed one, and dishes rotate seasonally.

Crowds are the main caveat. SEA is Alaska's home base and a Delta hub, and this is the only bank lounge in the building, so a lot of travelers converge on one room. When it's full, the Amex app shows how busy it is and lets you join a digital waitlist; you get 10 minutes to check in once called (AwardWallet, September 2025). Join from the security line rather than walking up and finding a queue.

Getting there

After security, go to the Central Terminal food court. Facing the windows, turn left and follow the signs for the elevator up to the mezzanine (directions from Amex). Concourses A, B, C and D all connect to the Central Terminal on foot. From the North Satellite (Alaska) or South Satellite (Delta international and foreign carriers), take the underground train back to the main terminal and allow extra time to return to your gate.

Nearby alternatives

  • Delta Sky Clubs (Concourse A, near A1 and A11): Platinum gets 10 visits a year and Delta Reserve 15 when flying Delta.
  • Alaska Lounges (C16, D1, N15): Alaska Lounge membership, eligible tickets, Atmos Rewards Summit passes or a day pass.
  • The Club SEA (Concourse A and South Satellite): Priority Pass, including the membership on the Platinum.
  • British Airways Terraces Lounge (South Satellite): Premium oneworld tickets and elites only.

FAQ

Where is the Centurion Lounge at Seattle airport? On the mezzanine level of the Central Terminal, above the food court, after security. Take the elevator to the left as you face the food court windows.

Can I use the SEA Centurion Lounge if I fly Alaska? Yes, with an Amex Platinum or Business Platinum. Delta Reserve holders get in only on a Delta flight, so an Alaska ticket doesn't qualify for them.

Can I reach the Centurion Lounge from the North or South Satellite? Yes. Everything at SEA is connected after security. Take the underground train from the satellite to the main terminal, then walk to the Central Terminal.

Is the Centurion Lounge SEA crowded? It can be, because it's the only bank lounge at a busy airport. Check the Amex app, which shows how full the lounge is and lets you join a waitlist before you arrive.

How much are guests at the Centurion Lounge SEA? $50 per adult and $30 per child aged 2 to 17, and guests must be on your flight. Two guests are free once you've spent $75,000 on the card in a calendar year.
