The Centurion Lounge DEN sits on the mezzanine above Concourse C near gate C46, and at about 14,650 square feet it's one of the largest lounges in the Amex network. It's the best lounge a credit card opens at Denver: roomy, with a craft beer bar and a game room, and reachable from any gate by the airside train.

How to get in
- Amex Platinum or Business Platinum: Show your card, a same-day boarding pass on any airline and ID. This is the main route in, and it works for the Southwest, American and United flyers who make up most of DEN's traffic.
- Delta SkyMiles Reserve (personal or business): Only when you're flying Delta that day on a ticket bought with your Reserve card. Delta flies from Concourse A, so you'll ride the train to C.
- Centurion (black) card: Free entry plus two guests or immediate family.
- What doesn't work: Priority Pass, Amex Gold, Green and the Delta Platinum card. There are no day passes, and no access on arrival.
Timing matters: you can enter up to 3 hours before your departure, or up to 5 hours before your next flight when connecting. Hours change seasonally, so check hours in the Amex app.
Guest policy
Since July 8, 2026, Platinum and Business Platinum guests cost $50 per adult and $30 per child aged 2–17; children under 2 are free. Guests must be on the same flight as you. Spend $75,000 on the card in a calendar year and two guests per visit become complimentary. Delta Reserve holders can bring up to two guests at $50 each. A couple flying Southwest out of C with one Platinum card pays $50 a visit, which is worth weighing against the Capital One Lounge in A if the other traveler has a Venture X.
What it's like
Denver's lounge opened on Feb. 1, 2021, after nearly three years of delays. Thrifty Traveler's opening review described a horseshoe-shaped space wrapped around frosted windows above the concourse that "looks and feels positively massive" compared with most Centurion Lounges.
- Food: Service started cafeteria-style rather than as a classic buffet, with a live cooking station; Upgraded Points (October 2026) still lists a staffed cooking station. The opening review found some dishes cold, so treat it as a good airport meal rather than a restaurant.
- Bar: A main bar with wine, draft beer and cocktails, plus a separate craft beer bar near the games area that poured local Denver-area brews at opening. There are self-serve coffee stations too.
- Seating: Pockets of lounge chairs, work tables and high-backed cubbies, a small phone room and a family room.
- Game room: Shuffleboard, a pool table and oversized board games — unusual for a Centurion Lounge.
- Showers: Two shower suites at opening, first come, first served; ask at the front desk.
- Crowds: Its size helps, but like other US Centurion Lounges it uses a digital waitlist when it hits capacity. Join from the Amex app, which also shows how busy the lounge is; once called you have 10 minutes to check in.
Getting there
From the Jeppesen Terminal, take the airside train to Concourse C. Walk toward gate C46, then take the escalator up to the mezzanine. If you're flying United from Concourse B or Delta from A, allow extra time for the train ride both ways, since it stops at A, then B, then C. Southwest flyers in C have the shortest walk.
