Best Credit Cards & Lounge Access for Boston (BOS) Flyers

By Krit · Updated · How we research

Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.

Boston Logan is JetBlue's biggest focus city and a Delta hub, with American and United in Terminal B and long-haul airlines in Terminal E. For BOS lounge access, the best credit card for Boston flyers is usually the Chase Sapphire Reserve, because the Chase Sapphire Lounge here was the first in the U.S., and there is no Centurion Lounge at BOS until about 2029.

Quick answer

  • Best overall for BOS lounge access: Chase Sapphire Reserve — the Sapphire Lounge (B–C connector) plus Priority Pass BOS lounges
  • Best for the Chase Sapphire Lounge: Chase Sapphire Reserve — two free guests per visit
  • Best value for Priority Pass: Capital One Venture X — Priority Pass only; there is no Capital One lounge at BOS
  • Best for frequent Delta flyers: Delta SkyMiles Reserve with Delta Sky Club access (three clubs in Terminals A and E)
  • Best for frequent JetBlue flyers: JetBlue Premier card with access to the new BlueHouse in Terminal C

Airport snapshot

Logan has four terminals. Terminal A is Delta's, with two Sky Clubs, and is not connected airside to the others. Terminal B holds American and United. Terminal C is JetBlue's, now with its BlueHouse lounge. Terminal E is the international terminal with the Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa and Emirates lounges and a third Sky Club. The Chase Sapphire Lounge is in Terminal B near gate B40, in the post-security connector toward Terminal C. Amex's Centurion Lounge, planned for Terminal C near gate C10, is now expected in 2029.

Where to go by terminal

Terminal Airlines Lounges there
Terminal A Delta 2 Delta Sky Clubs
Terminal B American, United Admirals Club, United Club; Sapphire Lounge in the B–C connector
Terminal C JetBlue BlueHouse, The Lounge (Priority Pass)
Terminal E International airlines Sky Club and Delta One, Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa, Emirates

Terminals B, C and E connect after security (sources differ on a few C gates); Terminal A does not, so Delta flyers there are limited to the Sky Clubs.

Lounges at BOS

Chase Sapphire Lounge BOS (Terminal B–C connector)

  • Location: Post-security connector between gates B39 and B40, linking Terminal B and Terminal C. Chase has said it is reachable airside from Terminals B, C and E; Terminal A flyers cannot reach it.
  • Access: Chase Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business, J.P. Morgan Reserve and Ritz-Carlton cards, any airline, within 3 hours of departure (5 hours when connecting).
  • Guest policy: Two free guests per visit, then $27 each. Sapphire Lounges left Priority Pass on August 15, 2026, so other cards' Priority Pass memberships no longer get in.
  • Best for: JetBlue, American and United flyers, and international flyers in Terminal E with time to walk.

JetBlue BlueHouse (Terminal C)

  • Location: Terminal C, across from gate C25. Opened August 27, 2026; about 12,000 square feet.
  • Access: Free for TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier cardholders and Mint or Mint Flex passengers. Day passes are $59 for Mosaic 3 and $79 for Mosaic 1–2 and JetBlue Plus or Business cardholders. Entry up to 3 hours before departure.
  • Guest policy: Paid guests; check JetBlue's current rates.
  • Best for: JetBlue flyers, who previously had no lounge of their own at Logan.

Delta Sky Clubs and Delta One Lounge (Terminals A and E)

  • Location: Two Sky Clubs in Terminal A (near gates A6 and A18) and one in Terminal E near gate E13, with a Delta One Lounge inside the Terminal E club.
  • Access: Sky Club members, Delta elites under Delta's rules, Delta Reserve (15 visits a year), Amex Platinum and Business Platinum (10 visits a year); $75,000 in annual card spending unlocks unlimited visits. Basic economy does not qualify. The Delta One Lounge is for Delta One and eligible premium-cabin passengers.
  • Guest policy: $50 per guest; Delta Reserve includes four guest passes a year.
  • Best for: Delta flyers. For Terminal A departures, these are the only lounges.

Admirals Club and United Club (Terminal B)

  • Location: Admirals Club upper level near gate B4; United Club near gate B24.
  • Access: Admirals Club membership, Citi AAdvantage Executive, Citi Strata Elite passes or a $79 day pass on American or Oneworld. United Club membership, the United Club card, Explorer passes or a $59 day pass on United or Star Alliance.
  • Guest policy: Citi AAdvantage Executive: two guests or immediate family. United Club card: one adult guest plus children under 18 (two adults once All Access is unlocked).
  • Best for: American and United flyers.

Terminal E international lounges

  • Location: Air France (near gates E3–E4), British Airways, Lufthansa and Emirates lounges (near gate E11).
  • Access: Premium cabins and alliance elites. Air France also sells passes to Air France, KLM and Delta passengers and takes Priority Pass. Amex Platinum's separate Lufthansa benefit ended October 1, 2026.
  • Guest policy: Varies by airline.
  • Best for: Long-haul departures from Terminal E.

Priority Pass at BOS

  • The Lounge (Terminal C, across from gate C19): independent lounge; Priority Pass access is restricted at peak afternoon and evening times when full. Walk-in passes about $50.
  • Air France Lounge (Terminal E): real lounge; Priority Pass listed.
  • Lufthansa Lounge (Terminal E): listed by some sources as Priority Pass; confirm in the app.
  • Access: Amex Platinum, Sapphire Reserve and Venture X include Priority Pass after enrollment. No Priority Pass restaurants are listed at BOS.

Recommended strategy

  • If you fly Delta often from BOS: Delta Reserve, or the Platinum if you also want lounges away from Delta. Terminal A has no bank lounge.
  • If you fly JetBlue often: The JetBlue Premier card for the BlueHouse, and a Sapphire Reserve if you want the Sapphire Lounge as well.
  • If you want one card that covers the best lounges: Sapphire Reserve. Until the Centurion Lounge opens, it is the only card with a flagship bank lounge at Logan.
  • If you want strong lounges at a lower cost: Venture X gets you The Lounge and Air France via Priority Pass, but nothing like the Sapphire Lounge.

No card? Day passes & other options

The Lounge in Terminal C sells walk-in passes, the Admirals Club sells $79 passes and the United Club $59 passes, all subject to capacity.
