Centurion Lounge Atlanta (ATL): Access, Guests & Review

By Krit · Updated · How we research

Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.

The Centurion Lounge Atlanta sits in Concourse E next to gate E11, and at about 26,000 square feet it is the largest Centurion Lounge in the network. If you hold an Amex Platinum and you're flying out of ATL on any airline, it's the best lounge in the airport — worth the Plane Train ride from any concourse.

How to get in

  • Amex Platinum ($895) and Business Platinum ($895): Free for the primary cardholder with a same-day boarding pass on any airline. Hours change, so check hours in the Amex app.
  • Centurion card: Free, plus two guests or immediate family who don't need to be on your flight.
  • Delta SkyMiles Reserve (personal or business, $650): Only when you're flying Delta that day on a ticket purchased with the Reserve card. In Atlanta that covers a lot of people, so expect to share the space with Delta flyers who'd otherwise be in a Sky Club.
  • What doesn't work: Priority Pass, the Amex Gold and the Delta Platinum card. There are no day passes, and no entry on arrival.

Guest policy

Since July 8, 2026, guests must be booked on the same flight as the cardholder. With a Platinum or Business Platinum card, guests cost $50 per adult and $30 per child aged 2–17; children under 2 are free. Spending $75,000 on the card in a calendar year unlocks two complimentary guests per visit. Delta Reserve holders can bring up to two guests at $50 each, also on a Delta flight.

For a family of four on one Platinum card, that's $110 per visit — see our Delta Sky Club access guide for the Sky Club alternative.

What it's like

Layout. AFAR's opening coverage describes a high-ceilinged lounge split into several living-room-style zones, phone rooms, and a private area for Centurion cardholders. The Bulkhead Seat's review notes it's broken into smaller rooms, one with phone booths and a conference table, so it rarely feels like one giant hall.

Outdoor terraces. ATL was the first Centurion Lounge with outdoor space: two terraces with heaters and fans, one facing the airfield and one tucked away and full of plants.

Food and bar. The menu launched with Atlanta chef Deborah VanTrece and leans soul food. Reviewers describe two buffet lines (hot dishes on one side, salads, soup and desserts on the other). Alongside the main bar is Reserve, the network's first dedicated whiskey bar, which AFAR and NerdWallet say pours more than 20 American whiskeys. Drinks, including premium spirits, are complimentary.

Showers. AFAR reported three all-gender shower suites at opening; a later review counted two. Ask at the front desk to book a slot. There's no spa.

Crowds. Reviewers who visited midday found plenty of empty seats, and the size helps. Expect it to be busier at weekend and holiday peaks, when reviewers and readers report lines and tables waiting to be cleared. Because Delta Reserve holders on Delta flights also get in, ATL can fill faster than its size suggests. If it's full, Amex uses a digital waitlist in the app.

Getting there

The lounge is in Concourse E (an international concourse that also handles Delta domestic flights) next to gate E11. All ATL concourses are connected airside by the Plane Train and a pedestrian walkway, so you can reach it from any gate without clearing security again. From T or A, allow 10 to 15 minutes each way; if you're departing from E or F, it's a short walk. Mind the 3-hour entry window: if you clear security very early, you'll have to wait elsewhere until you're within 3 hours of departure.

Nearby alternatives

  • Delta Sky Clubs: There's one in every concourse, including E (near E15). Platinum gets 10 visits a year on Delta flights; Reserve gets 15.
  • The Club ATL (Priority Pass): Concourse F mezzanine. It's the only Priority Pass lounge at ATL and often has a waitlist.
  • Minute Suites: Concourses B, E and F, one hour with Priority Pass.

There's no Chase Sapphire Lounge or Capital One Lounge at ATL. See every option in our ATL airport lounges guide.
