Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston (BOS): Access, Guests & Review

By Krit · Updated · How we research

Lounge access rules change often — confirm in the lounge's app or the card's benefits page before you fly.

The Chase Sapphire Lounge at Boston Logan sits in the post-security connector between Terminals B and C, near gate B40. It was the first Sapphire Lounge in the US (2023), and it's still the best credit-card lounge at BOS, partly because there's no Centurion Lounge here yet. Verdict: if you hold a Sapphire Reserve and fly from Terminal B or C, it's worth arriving early for.

How to get in

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve: Primary cardholders and authorized users get unlimited visits. Show your physical card or the Chase-issued Priority Pass membership in the Chase app, plus a same-day departing boarding pass on any airline.
  • Sapphire Reserve for Business: Primary cardmembers only; employee cards don't get in.
  • J.P. Morgan Reserve and Ritz-Carlton card: Primary and authorized users. The Ritz-Carlton card is closed to new applicants.
  • Priority Pass from other cards: No longer works. Sapphire Lounges left Priority Pass and LoungeKey on Aug. 15, 2026, which ended the one free visit a year Amex Platinum, Venture X and Citi Strata Elite holders used to get. Chase's lounge page doesn't advertise day passes.
  • Sapphire Preferred: Not eligible.

Guest policy

Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve and Ritz-Carlton cardholders can bring two guests free per visit; each additional guest is $27, and children under 2 are free. Chase's lounge page doesn't spell out a separate guest rule for Reserve for Business at Sapphire Lounges, so check your card terms. Two free guests is the main thing that sets this lounge apart from rivals: Centurion guests cost $50 and Capital One Lounge guests $45.

What it's like

At about 11,640 square feet, the Boston lounge is similar in size to many Centurion Lounges, smaller than the newer LaGuardia and DFW Sapphire Lounges. Reviewers describe a pre-plated small-plates buffet plus a full menu you order by scanning a QR code at your table; View from the Wing reported drinks in about 10 minutes and food in about 15. There are two bars, one cocktail-focused and a taproom with local beers on draft, and alcohol is served from early morning.

Amenities include two shower rooms stocked with Apotheke products, two wellness rooms with anti-gravity massage chairs and guided meditation, and a nursing suite. Showers and wellness rooms are first come, first served through a sign-up list, and they back up at busy times: View from the Wing's Gary Leff waited more than two hours for a shower slot on a summer Friday in 2023, though the lounge itself was "busy but not overcrowded." Reviewers have scored the food and service highly; a February 2026 review still rated it above the average US lounge.

The Priority Pass exit should mean fewer visitors from other banks' cards, but that's an expectation, not something reviews have measured yet. Hours are listed in the Chase app.

Getting there

After security in Terminal B (United and the other Terminal B airlines), walk through the food court toward the connector to Terminal C; the lounge is between gates B39 and B40. From JetBlue's Terminal C, walk back through the connector. American's gates near B4 are a long walk, so budget extra time. Terminal A (Delta) is not connected airside, so Delta flyers there can't use it without re-clearing security. Chase has said Terminal E is reachable airside, but confirm the walk before an international departure.

Nearby alternatives

  • JetBlue BlueHouse (Terminal C, near C25): opened Aug. 27, 2026, for Mosaic 4, JetBlue Premier cardholders and Mint flyers.
  • Admirals Club and United Club (Terminal B): airline memberships, co-brand cards or day passes.
  • Delta Sky Clubs (Terminals A and E): for Delta flyers.

FAQ

Does the Boston Sapphire Lounge have showers? Yes, two shower rooms. Sign up when you arrive; waits can be long at midday and on Friday afternoons.

How early can I get in? Up to 3 hours before your departing flight. Chase said in August 2026 that connecting passengers could enter up to 5 hours before their next flight, but its lounge page still says 3 hours.

Is there a Centurion Lounge at BOS? Not yet. Amex has a lease for one in Terminal C, now expected around 2029.
